Mrs Vassilyev of Russia set the world record for the most children birthed by a single woman, giving birth to 69 children between 1725 and 1765! 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets!! A total of 27 pregnancies. She lived to the age of 76.
